We have worked very hard during the month of September to get everyone (re)acclimated to Waterloo’s rules and expectations. We are confident that these efforts, paired with an unwavering focus on learning and personal growth, will set us up for a school-year of success!
In honor of our first full month of hard work, let’s have a little fun with our school rules and show off our Waterloo B.E.S.T
- Monday (9/24): WaterLOO Pride Day- Show your school pride by wearing Waterloo apparel OR any red/white/black that you own! Go Wildcats!
- Tuesday (9/25): Be Respectful Day-Show respect by wearing a “positiviTEE” shirt that displays positive and/or kind messages for our Waterloo community.
- Wednesday (9/26): Embrace Differences Day- Embrace differences on wacky-tack, mis-match day. Put on different shoes, mis-match socks, and/or throw your shirt on backwards and join us!
- Thursday (9/27): Spend Time Learning Day -Show us how you spend time learning outside of school. Wear anything that has to do with learning… sports jersey (you have to learn sports, too!), t-shirt from a training, college, school trip, camp, etc… maybe even a shirt that you LEARNED to tie-dye yourself!
- Friday (9/28): Take responsibility day- Be a responsible team member and wear your team/grade-level color. Shirt, shorts, bracelet, socks… whatever you’ve got! Team Colors: Pink (PK), Purple (K), Orange (1st), Yellow (2nd), Green (3rd), Blue (4th), Red (5th).
We hope that you will join us in showing your Waterloo B.E.S.T.
